You might have also thought "How are all these guys typing in runes?" I'm not, really — I'm typing into some really basic algorithms and copying the results, but since they're already in JS, here, you can use them, too:

Modern Futhorc, as mentioned in the rune tree and Futhorc cards above, is a project I'm working on as a system of runes designed to work with Modern English. The vowels are intended to be a cipher (i.e., the A rune should be used anywhere the A letter appears), but the rules for consonants are a bit more complex, espcially when factoring in optional runes and variants. I'm working on a more detailed explanation, but I haven't had time and energy to do much with runes lately.
